Ferretti Yachts has celebrated the successful launch of the very first unit of its latest model, the Ferretti Yachts 800, which took place on July 18 at the Cattolica shipyard.
This latest addition completes the brand’s fleet redesign, a journey that began in 2018. Developed through the combined efforts of the Strategic Product Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the yacht measures 24.47 meters in length with a maximum beam of 5.91 meters. A version with a shorter swim platform has also been introduced to comply with French regulations on 24 meter vessels.
The 800 represents a stylistic progression for the brand, shaped by Filippo Salvetti, who designed the exteriors, and the Ideaeitalia team, responsible for the interiors.
“Ferretti Yachts 800 is designed to offer the owner peerless comfort and a superior on-board lifestyle, thanks to optimised spaces and meticulous layout planning.”
Among the yacht’s standout features are expansive windows that create a seamless connection between the interiors and the surrounding seascape, as well as cleverly designed zones that ensure privacy and maximise outdoor living spaces.
At the rear of the main deck, a seven square meter beach club opens into a cockpit area defined by a striking glass parapet that visually connects guests to the water. The crew quarters, comprising three separate cabins, are accessed via the port-side passageway.
Inside, the salon benefits from full-height windows that fill the space with natural light. This inaugural unit features the “Classic” interior styling, characterised by warm tones and organic materials. The lounge includes a corner sofa, a storage unit, and a retractable television. High ceilings, measuring two meters, enhance the sense of spaciousness.
Adjacent to the lounge is a refined dining space with a stylish table, while a fully equipped galley sits nearby, concealed behind a sliding bulkhead. Practical crew access routes allow staff to move from outside into the galley and wheelhouse without disrupting guest areas. The helm can also be reached from the interior hallway.
At the front of the yacht, guests will find a relaxation area with a sun pad and a C-shaped sofa designed for comfort and leisure.
Below deck, the sleeping accommodations include a full-beam master suite, a VIP stateroom at the bow, and two additional guest cabins, all with private en suite facilities, accommodating up to eight guests in total.
The flybridge boasts a generous 40 square meter surface area and is outfitted for outdoor enjoyment. On the starboard side, a dining table is paired with a built-in fibreglass sofa that doubles as storage. Opposite, a bar unit can be fitted with optional stools. The aft section offers modular furnishings, including pouffes and sofas for versatile lounging.
The flybridge helm features ergonomic seating and provides excellent sightlines for navigation.
Powering the first Ferretti Yachts 800 are twin MAN V12 engines, each delivering 1,800 horsepower. The yacht is capable of reaching a top speed of 31 knots and maintains a cruising speed of 27 knots.
