MTB Marine Europe 2026 brought the marine industry together in Istanbul for a few days of business, new connections and shared experiences. Buyers from leading European Ship Owners and Ship Management Companies joined Supplier Companies from across the Marine Industry for a programme of targeted one-to-one meetings, creating opportunities to discuss purchasing requirements, explore solutions and identify potential business opportunities. Alongside the meetings, hosted dinners and social events gave delegates the chance to enjoy Istanbul and spend time with fellow industry professionals beyond the meeting rooms. The MTB Events team would like to thank everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s event a success.
As delegates arrived in Istanbul, registration marked the beginning of another edition of MTB Marine Europe. Attendees collected their event materials and had the opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and meet fellow marine professionals ahead of the formal programme.
The welcome dinner brought everyone together for the first evening, providing a relaxed introduction to the days ahead. With Buyers and Suppliers sharing a meal and enjoying conversations away from their usual working environments, it was a great way to get the event underway and set the scene for the business meetings to follow.

The first full day saw Buyers and Suppliers take their places for a programme of prearranged one-to-one meetings. Each delegate followed a personalised schedule, with appointments organised around relevant business requirements and areas of interest. This format gave participants dedicated time with professionals whose products, services and expertise aligned with their needs.
“Events like MTB are about more than business meetings. They’re about building meaningful relationships, sharing experiences, and strengthening the connections that move our industry forward.”

From discussing current purchasing requirements to exploring potential solutions, the meetings provided a focused environment for exchanging knowledge and identifying opportunities across the marine sector. The structured programme also allowed delegates to make the most of their time together, with conversations tailored to their individual business priorities.

The middle-night dinner took delegates to 360 Istanbul, where panoramic views across the city provided a spectacular backdrop for an evening away from the meeting schedule.
Live cooking stations served a selection of dishes throughout the evening, while a saxophonist and DJ kept the atmosphere lively. The combination of music, food and views made for a memorable night, giving delegates the chance to unwind after a full day of meetings and enjoy a different side of Istanbul.
With the evening offering a change of pace from the business programme, it was another highlight of the event and a chance for the marine community to enjoy time together in a unique setting.

The final day brought Buyers and Suppliers back to the meeting tables for another round of one-to-one appointments. With discussions from the previous day to build on, delegates had further opportunities to explore business requirements, revisit promising conversations and discuss potential next steps.
Alongside the scheduled meetings, Suppliers had the opportunity to showcase their products and services through tabletop presentations. These gave delegates another way to discover relevant offerings, learn more about available solutions and engage directly with companies serving the marine industry.
As the final appointments took place, the meeting floor remained busy with discussions and interactions between delegates. The combination of focused appointments and supplier presentations brought the business programme to a close, with plenty for participants to take away from their time in Istanbul.

The final evening brought MTB Marine Europe 2026 to a close with a sit-down dinner and an evening of entertainment. As guests arrived at the ballroom, live drummers created an energetic welcome, setting the tone for the final celebration.
Delegates enjoyed dinner, captured memories at the 360 video booth and took to the music of the live band as the evening continued. After several busy days of meetings and activities, it was an opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate the event and enjoy one last night in Istanbul with fellow Buyers and Suppliers.
The celebration marked the end of another edition of MTB Marine Europe, bringing together the business and social sides of the event. From targeted one-to-one appointments to evenings spent exploring the city and enjoying time together, the programme offered delegates a valuable opportunity to engage with the wider marine community.
“The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with suppliers, strengthen existing relationships, meet fellow maritime professionals, and exchange ideas and experiences with people who share the same passion for our industry.
I’m returning with new connections, valuable insights, and fresh perspectives, reminded once again of how important strong professional relationships are in the ever-evolving maritime sector.”
