Ryanair announces that it will operate four flights a week between Cardiff and Dublin, once again connecting the capitals of Wales and Ireland.
Flights commence on 31st October, and will operate on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, enabling customers to easily fly between Wales and Ireland.
This is welcome news for customers looking to reconnect with friends and relatives, business travellers, and those wanting to take a break and explore the city and Ireland’s natural beauty.
The Cardiff-Dublin route is also key for travelling sports teams and fans attending rugby, football and other fixtures in both Wales and Ireland, notably this year’s Autumn Internationals and the Six Nations Championship in 2022, with games set to take place in both Dublin’s Aviva Stadium and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
Ryanair are also offering a ‘zero’ change fee should their travel plans change this winter, valid on flights up to 31 December 2021, enabling customers to book with confidence. To celebrate the launch, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with flights from £19.99 for travel until the end of March 2022, with offers running until 19th August.

This news marks the addition of another key route for Cardiff, following the resumption of flights to Edinburgh and Belfast which were re-instated earlier this year. It also brings the number of scheduled Ryanair routes from Cardiff up to four; with flights to Barcelona, Malaga and Faro operating throughout the summer months.
