This week the Damen Yachting team celebrated the keel-laying of the SeaXplorer 60 from our luxury expedition yacht range.
The Netherlands-based design team joined the Antalya production team to witness the first steps in of this very exciting project. The SeaXplorer 60 will be delivered in spring 2024, confirms SeaXplorer Design Manager Enrique Tintore.
The SeaXplorer 60 is 60 metres in length (almost 200 ft) with exteriors by Azure Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design. For her 12 guests on board, she has impressive capability and extensive provisions so that her 17 crew (including 4 specialist staff, guides, pilots, etc) can provide full luxury service for up to 30 days without port call. As well as an Ice Class hull for global voyaging, she has hybrid power and propulsion.
“This will be our fourth SeaXplorer build. It’s very exciting to be here, after all the months of detailed engineering, to see the SeaXplorer 60 beginning to take shape. It’s a fantastic layout with a lot of flexibility – she is really a yacht for all seasons” says Enrique Tintore, SeaXplorer design manager.
