The latest edition of MTB Marine Asia has now concluded, with the MTB Team now celebrating the success of the three days of dynamic networking, impactful meetings and exciting new beginnings, most notably marked by the MTB Events Rebrand Party.
The event opened with a vibrant atmosphere as the delegates arrived and settled into Ho Chi Minh City, greeted by the enthusiastic team and a renewed visual identity. Upon arrival the delegates were all given their name badges with lanyards sponsored by Gimas Ship Supply & Services and a welcome bag, including their directory, a pen, and a welcome note, all featuring the new identity. To make sure everyone had a seamless experience, the team made sure each delegate understood the event agenda and gave instructions on the directory and timeline.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the MTB Rebrand Party, which officially unveiled a bold new look for the brand. The evening featured a lively mix of music, entertainment, and celebration all upon a cruise sailing down the Saigon River, bringing the entire community together to toast to the future.
Once returning from the river cruise, the delegates had another opportunity to interact and begin the formative discussions that evening at the welcome dinner. Many used this time to catch up with more of their peers and form new bonds that created the basis of future collaborations.

Thursday marked the official start of the one-to-one meetings, the heart of what makes MTB Marine Asia such a valuable platform for the maritime industry. With delegates moving between their bespoke scheduled appointments throughout the day, the energy was unmistakable as business discussions took centre stage. Each Buyer table was gifted notepads and pens from Özgen Ship Supply and Bags from Middle East Fuji LLC.
“Our team has had a fantastic start—engaging in meaningful one-on-one meetings, reconnecting with industry peers, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration across the maritime supply chain.”

Participants from across the world engaged in pre-arranged meetings designed to maximise efficiency and relevance. Buyers and suppliers alike had the opportunity to explore new products, discuss industry trends, and form partnerships tailored to their unique needs.
Between the sessions and during the coffee break and tabletop presentation, networking continued informally, offering even more chances for delegates to connect on a more personal level. Conversations covered a range of topics, from innovations in marine technology to where the marine industry’s future is heading. By the end of the day, it was clear that business relationships had been strengthened, and new opportunities were on the horizon.

After a productive first day, delegates were treated to an authentic Vietnamese dining experience at the renowned Nhà Hàng Ngon. Set in a charming colonial-style villa in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the restaurant provided a warm and elegant atmosphere for guests to unwind after a full day of meetings. The menu featured a curated selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes, celebrating the rich culinary heritage of the region. On every place setting there was gift of a bottle opener, kindly supplied by Gimas Ship Supply & Services. As the sun set, the evening unfolded with vibrant conversation, laughter, and a true sense of community, perfectly capturing the spirit of connection that defines MTB Marine Asia.

The final day continued the momentum with more meetings and interactive sessions, further solidifying the value of face-to-face engagement.
A standout feature of the day was the extended coffee break, thoughtfully designed to give participants a more relaxed setting to continue networking while also exploring the tabletop presentations. These dedicated displays allowed suppliers to showcase key products, services, and innovations in an informal, approachable format. Attendees were able to browse at their own pace, ask questions, and make meaningful connections in a more interactive environment.
By the close of the final meeting day, there was a clear sense that relationships had not only been formed but also strengthened, setting the stage for future collaboration well beyond the event itself.

The final evening of MTB Marine Asia was a fitting close to a week of connection and collaboration. The delegates gathered for a beautifully curated Vietnamese dinner. The evening featured traditional Vietnamese dance performances, offering a vibrant display of local artistry and heritage that captivated the audience.
As dinner concluded, the MTB Events team expressed their heartfelt appreciation to all attendees, partners, and sponsors who contributed to the success of the event. The night then took a joyful turn as guests embraced the spirit of celebration with karaoke, filling the venue with music, laughter, and memorable performances that brought everyone together one last time. It was a night that perfectly reflected the warmth, energy, and community that defined the entire event.
“As we bring this final evening at MTB Marine Asia to a close, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the entire MTB Events ‘Meet The Buyer’ (team). Your unwavering commitment to excellence is reflected in every aspect of this event.
For over 17 years, this remarkable team has united a broad and vital spectrum of the maritime industry — shipowners, managers, and suppliers — creating a space for collaboration, strategic exchange, and enduring partnerships. It is through platforms like this that we are able to align our objectives and collectively contribute to the advancement and resilience of the maritime sector.
Let us not forget: more than 90% of global trade is transported by sea. The influence of our industry is both profound and far-reaching — and the connections and cooperation fostered here play a meaningful role in that global impact.
Thank you, MTB team, for your vision, your dedication, and for continuing to build bridges that strengthen our industry and its future.”
