Set against the stunning backdrop of Lisbon, MTB Marine Europe 2025 wrapped up last week after three energising days of conversation, connections, and collaboration. From thought-provoking discussions to new partnerships taking shape, the event once again showcased the strength and innovation of the marine community. Our heartfelt thanks go to every delegate whose energy and expertise made this year’s edition so memorable.

“Grateful to have been part of this dynamic event connecting professionals from across the maritime industry. It was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new collaborations, and strengthen valuable connections.“

– Karpowership

Delegates began arriving on Wednesday, greeted by the MTB Team and the warm buzz of anticipation that always marks the start of an MTB event. The check-in ran seamlessly as attendees collected their name badges and lanyards, kindly sponsored by Ket Marine. With the team on hand to offer a friendly welcome and clear guidance, the event got underway on an organised and upbeat note, setting the tone for three days of productive meetings and meaningful connections.

That evening’s Welcome Dinner set the perfect tone for the days ahead, bringing delegates together in a relaxed, lively setting that encouraged conversation and connection. Familiar faces reunited, while new introductions quickly turned into engaging exchanges, creating a genuine sense of community that carried through the entire event. Adding a special touch, each guest was gifted perfume from Özgen Ship Supply, a thoughtful gesture that reflected the spirit of generosity and partnership at the heart of MTB Marine Europe.

Thursday kicked off the heart of MTB Marine Europe with a full day of one-to-one meetings, a bustling schedule designed to maximise networking and collaboration. Buyers were welcomed to their tables, thoughtfully equipped with notepads and pens from Özgen Ship Supply, a welcome bag from Middle East Fuji LLC, and mints from Balam Marine Holdings. Meanwhile, suppliers collected their tailored schedules from the MTB support desk, with the guarantee that every meeting would run smoothly. With the MTB team on hand to assist at every turn, conversations flowed effortlessly, sparking new opportunities, sharing valuable insights, and strengthening partnerships that promise to endure well beyond the event.

“I would like to extend my sincere thanks for such a wonderfully organised and professional event. It was my first time attending, so I came with no expectations — only a general idea of what it might be like — and I must say it exceeded them all. I had excellent meetings, made valuable new contacts, engaged in productive conversations, and even formed new friendships.”

– Blucher A/S

That evening, delegates ventured out of the hotel for a memorable dinner at Estufa Fria, one of Lisbon’s most striking venues. Before taking their seats, attendees enjoyed a private stroll through the lush and carefully curated gardens, a moment of calm and conversation that set the stage for the evening ahead. Each place setting included a thoughtful gift, a luggage scale sponsored by Ket Marine, adding a personal and practical touch to the experience. Guests then savoured a three-course menu showcasing the finest of Portuguese cuisine, with each dish carefully prepared to highlight local flavours and culinary traditions. The combination of stunning surroundings, engaging company, and exquisite food made for an evening that perfectly captured the spirit of connection and celebration that defines MTB Marine Europe.

The final day of MTB Marine Europe continued with another round of carefully curated one-to-one meetings, highlighting once again the unmatched value of face-to-face engagement. A longer coffee break during the tabletop presentations quickly became a standout moment, offering delegates extra time to connect in a more informal setting. Buyers explored the various displays while suppliers showcased their products, services, and innovations in an open and welcoming atmosphere. This setup fostered deeper conversations, genuine understanding, and meaningful insights into the offerings on show. As the last meetings ended, it was clear that the connections formed over the week had blossomed into strong foundations for lasting partnerships and future collaboration.

MTB Marine Europe drew to a close with a final Gala dinner, giving delegates one final opportunity to celebrate the week’s achievements together. Throughout the evening, the MTB Events team expressed heartfelt thanks to all attendees and sponsors, acknowledging the vital role they played in making the event such a success before showing a video concluding the week. The atmosphere was warm and celebratory, perfectly reflecting the MTB spirit of being collaborative, welcoming, and community focused. As conversations and laughter filled the room, it was clear that the connections made, and insights shared during the event would continue to resonate long after the final toast.

“Bringing together maritime professionals for productive meetings, insightful discussions, and meaningful connections, this year’s event truly embodied the spirit of collaboration and innovation.

Surrounded by great company and engaging conversations, it provided the perfect setting to exchange ideas, explore new opportunities, and strengthen partnerships across the industry.

Our team proudly connected with industry peers to share perspectives on innovation, service quality, and sustainability within marine services, reinforcing our commitment to advancing excellence across the maritime sector.”

 – Arkas Egypt

We would like to once again extend our sincere gratitude to this year’s sponsors: KET Marine, Middle East Fuji LLC, Balam Marine Holdings, Özgen Ship Supply and Al Baraka Shipchandlers LLC.
