Heidmar Maritime Holdings Corp. has strengthened its global ship management operations through the acquisition of QShipping B.V., a Netherlands-based ship management and crewing company. The deal, which became effective on 1 July 2026, adds nine vessels to Heidmar’s managed fleet while expanding the company’s operational footprint into the Netherlands and Türkiye, alongside a dedicated crewing presence in Ukraine.
The acquisition was completed for approximately US$0.2 million using existing cash resources, with no regulatory approvals or post-completion conditions required. As a result of the transaction, Heidmar now oversees around 50 vessels under commercial management and 16 under technical management.
The move supports the company’s strategy of growing its operations through an asset-light model, increasing both the size of its managed fleet and its geographical reach without significant capital expenditure. By establishing operations in two major maritime markets and strengthening its in-house crewing capabilities through Ukraine, Heidmar is aiming to enhance its ability to support shipowners while positioning itself for further expansion.
The addition of offices in the Netherlands and Türkiye places the company closer to key shipping markets and cargo routes, providing opportunities to develop new ship management mandates and continue growing its fleet management activities across the region. The newly acquired vessels also contribute immediately to Heidmar’s existing operations, creating a larger platform from which to build future business.
The acquisition is also expected to contribute positively to management fee revenues, building on a period of operational and financial growth for the company throughout 2026. The expanded service offering and broader international presence are intended to support continued growth in response to demand for professional ship management services.
“This acquisition is a clear example of how we intend to grow Heidmar — adding vessels and expanding into new markets with minimal capital and immediate operational upside. Overnight we gain a management presence in the Netherlands and Türkiye and a capable crewing operation in Ukraine, giving us the platform and the people to take on further mandates and scale our managed fleet across the region. It is a small investment with strategic value, and it reflects the disciplined, capital-efficient way we plan to build the Company.”
