The Sea Club 53, the most recent fully customised masterpiece from Alia Yachts, marks the beginning of a new chapter in the story of superyachting. This 53-metre vessel, designed to be the ultimate tender-carrying superyacht, was just launched in Antalya, Türkiye, using a synchro lift. There is still final outfitting and sea trials to be completed before the August delivery date.
The Sea Club 53 will rank among the most capable and adaptable superyachts in the sub-500GT size range when she is eventually released. Along with a variety of other water sports gear, dive gear, and toys, she will be home to a helicopter, a submarine, a 13-metre tender, an 8-metre crew tender, two sailing catamarans, two dinghies, and two Waverunners. Additionally, her superyacht has two additional guest cabins, a dedicated relaxation lounge, and an opulent master stateroom as standard accommodations.
“The Sea Club 53 showcases the very best of our capabilities here at Alia Yachts. We’re thrilled to see her in the water demonstrating her full potential for operating in great comfort at speeds up to 15 knots. It is a testament to our expert technical, engineering and boat building teams here at Alia, as well as the close collaboration we have enjoyed with Azure Yacht Design for the exterior design and layout development, and with Diana Yacht Design for the naval architecture underpinning the hull. The Sea Club 53 has been an ambitiously rapid build. Thanks to an excellent relationship with the owner’s team at Technical Marine UK and quick thinking at our end, we have brought the project from dream to floating reality in a little over two years.”
Gökhan Çelik, president of Alia Yachts.
The yacht has been built entirely in-house for an owner who wanted all the fun of a chaseboat combined with the finish and styling of a superyacht. While maintaining all of the amenities expected of a contemporary superyacht, she is an exceptionally advanced platform for water sports, underwater exploration, and helicopter operations. Not only does she provide excellent lodging for overnight stays, but her expansive outside deck spaces are perfect for social events and parties.
The Sea Club was built in three sections: the hull, the superstructure, and the heli deck, with it being combined at the end of 2022. The lower deck features an impressive 50 square metres of toy storage space in addition to a dedicated water sports facility. The heli deck has been fully certified up to H-145. With her range of over twenty modular water park components, the crew can craft a complex new feature each day.
“The launch of project Sea Club marks the start of a whole new concept in the yachting industry. A unique combination of luxurious guest accommodation, enormous storage for tenders and toys and an unparalleled number of entertainment possibilities. The owner’s goal was to fit the storage and the entertainment amenities which would be usually found on an 80m+ vessel, while keeping the rich and elegant look of a superyacht.”
Onne Logger, Azure Yacht Design.
The owner and his captain, Alia Yachts, the designers (Azure Yacht Design), the naval architects (Diana Yacht Design), and the owner’s representative (TMUK) worked together to achieve this a unique result.
