On the Wednesday, delegates were warmly welcomed by the MTB Team, who provided them with their comprehensive event directories, assigned Buyer or Supplier badges, as well as welcome gifts courtesy of Next Level Aviation. The team guided each delegate through the event schedule, highlighting the key role of the directory and timeline to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
The welcome dinner took place that evening, providing delegates with their first opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations. It was a chance to reconnect with long-time acquaintances, share experiences, and reminisce, while also creating space to forge new connections and lay the foundation for lasting partnerships. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the tone for the collaborative and vibrant spirit of the event.
The first day of meetings kicked off promptly on Thursday. Upon arriving at the ballroom, Buyers were guided by the MTB Team to their assigned tables, where they would remain for the next two days of scheduled meetings. Each Buyer was provided with a notepad and pen, generously sponsored by AMP Aero Services, to ensure they were fully prepared. Suppliers, upon their arrival, visited the MTB Support Desk to collect their detailed schedules, which outlined the precise time and location of every meeting, ensuring a smooth and organised start to the event.
After a successful first day of meetings, delegates had the opportunity to unwind, either by continuing to network or preparing for the evening’s activities. At 7:30 PM, attendees gathered to step away from the formal setting of the hotel and immerse themselves in the rich history of Panama. Dinner was held at Casa Blanca, overlooking the iconic Plaza Bolívar, offering a delightful culinary experience inspired by the vibrant flavours of the Pacific and Caribbean regions. The evening was accompanied by the sounds of calming live music. This evening was sponsored by MTI Aviation, with each delegate receiving a gift of wireless headphones.
Friday’s meetings followed a similar schedule, featuring an extended tabletop presentation during the coffee break. This provided Suppliers with an opportunity to go beyond the 20-minute discussions, showcasing their offerings in greater depth and fostering additional connections. The tabletop presentations were a highlight, allowing delegates to engage more interactively. The giveaways were especially popular, with many attendees collecting unique souvenirs as memorable tokens from the Suppliers.
The final night dinner was a fitting conclusion to the success of the inaugural MTB Aviation Americas. The evening began with a lively drinks reception before delegates took their seats on the terrace, ready to enjoy a delicious three-course meal. Thoughtful travel pouches, generously provided by AMP Aero Services, were placed at each setting as a token of appreciation. Entertainment for the night featured a dynamic four-piece live band, adding energy and charm to the celebration.
During dinner, the MTB Team delivered a heartfelt closing speech, expressing their gratitude to the Aviation delegates for their enthusiasm and participation. As the evening ended, attendees departed with a sense of accomplishment, having successfully built and strengthened both personal and professional connections.
