The MTB Team is currently celebrating the success of their first Aviation event of the year, MTB Aviation Asia. This sold-out event brought together international Aviation Suppliers to meet with Buyers from Airlines across Asia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
MTB ‘Meet the Buyer’ would like to extend their gratitude to the attending delegates, their presence and enthusiasm have contributed significantly to the success of the event.

When the delegates arrived at the hotel they were welcomed by the enthusiastic MTB Team and handed their badges and walked through the comprehensive event directory featuring all Buyer & Supplier profiles, event programme and any other important information they would need.
Before the inaugural dinner, the delegates had the opportunity to discover the famous sights and landmarks of Kuala Lumpur in comfort onboard an open top bus sponsored by PartsBase. At the welcome dinner the delegates gathered to catch up with old friends and plant the seeds for new relationships over a selection of cocktails kindly sponsored by AMP Aero Services.
The first day of meetings began promptly on the Thursday. When the Buyers arrived at the ballroom they were shown to their assigned tables, by the MTB Team, where they would be seated for the two day meeting schedule. Each table displayed the Buyers’ bespoke schedules as well as gifts of pens and pads from AMP Aero Services LLC and bags from Avsource International.
As the suppliers arrived to the ballroom, they stopped by the MTB Support Desk to receive their own schedules instructing them the time and location of each Buyer they would be meeting. The meeting programme ran between 9:30 am and 4:10 pm each day, with the meetings lasting 20 minutes each.
Following a successful first day of meetings, the delegates took use of their free time to either continue networking or prepare for the evening ahead. At 7:30 pm the delegates were taken out of the hotel and into a serene culinary retreat to relax and have insightful conversations while enjoying traditional Malaysian cuisine. Each delegate was gifted with power banks from MTI Aviation MRO as they sat down to enjoy the company of their peers.
The Friday consisted of a similar meeting programme but with the addition of an extended coffee break for the tabletop presentations. Beyond the allotted 20 minutes, Suppliers can showcase themselves more effectively with tabletop presentations, which can foster additional opportunities for networking. The giveaways were a big hit, with many delegates collecting varied and creatively branded items to remember the Suppliers by.
The final night dinner was the perfect conclusion to the success of MTB Aviation Asia. Following a reception with drinks, our delegates were seated in the ballroom ready for a three-course meal. The evenings entertainment featured a traditional Malaysian lion dance, spirits kindly sponsored by AMP Aero Services LLC and the always popular photobooth, sponsored by MTI Aviation MRO. During the dinner, the MTB Team expressed their sincere gratitude to the Aviation delegates in their final speech alongside a video showcasing the highlights of the past few days. The evening ended and those in attendance left after successfully establishing and developing strong personal and professional relationships.
