Eutelsat has entered into a partnership with Singapore-based Can Marine to introduce advanced maritime connectivity services powered by Eutelsat’s OneWeb low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network.
Can Marine operates as a maritime connectivity integrator, delivering satellite communications solutions to commercial shipping companies and offshore energy operators. Its services span the full communications lifecycle, including network architecture, deployment, and ongoing technical support, enabling secure and reliable connectivity tailored to the operational demands of modern fleets.
Through the agreement, Can Marine will utilise capacity from Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO constellation to enhance connectivity offerings for key customers across the Asia-Pacific region. The focus will be on supporting merchant shipping and offshore energy fleets with next-generation communications capabilities designed to meet the sector’s evolving digital requirements.
“We are absolutely delighted that Can Marine has entrusted Eutelsat and its OneWeb LEO connectivity solution to support it in delivering services meeting the highest industry standards to its customers. We look forward to developing our partnership in the years to come and supporting Can Marine as it reinforces its position as a key marine electronics and solutions provider in the Southeast Asia region.”
