United Airlines Holdings, Inc. (UAL) have announced that Michelle Freyre is joining its Board of Directors. At The Estée Lauder Companies, Freyre presently holds the position of President, Global Brands, Clinique and Origins. In this role, she is responsible for directing the brands’ strategic direction and driving their global growth.

Freyre formerly worked for Johnson & Johnson (“J&J”) for 20 years in a variety of marketing and sales-related positions, most notably as President of the J&J Consumer Health Products division’s U.S. Beauty division. Michelle worked in Brand Marketing for several companies, including Pepsi-Cola Company, before joining J&J. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and she graduated from Yale University with a B.A. and Harvard Business School with an MBA.
Rosalind Brewer, who was added to the Board earlier this year, will also be joining Michelle. Directors James Kennedy and Carolyn Corvi have served their terms well, and they have decided not to run for office again this year.
