Passenger traffic at low-cost carrier Ryanair increased by 6% in May 2026, with the airline reporting 20.7 million guests carried during the month, up from 19.6 million in May 2025. The company also maintained a load factor of 95%, unchanged from the same period last year, highlighting continued strong demand across its network.
Over the rolling 12-month period to the end of May 2026, Ryanair carried 210.4 million passengers, representing a 4% increase compared with the previous rolling annual total of 202.0 million guests. The load factor across the 12-month period remained steady at 94%.
The airline said it operated more than 114,000 flights during May as it continued to expand capacity across key European markets ahead of the peak summer travel season.
